Aspire People are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Mathematics Teacher (QTS) for a vibrant secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. If you have a strong understanding of the curriculum and a genuine desire to inspire students, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic school team!
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Maths to secondary school students, ensuring high-quality lessons and a strong focus on student engagement and achievement.
Plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum, adapting content to meet the needs of students at different levels.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to foster a cohesive learning experience.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment.
Prior experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4 is preferred but not essential.
Desirable:
Experience teaching GCSE Maths.
