Aspire People are delighted to be working with a specialist provision in Stoke to recruit a qualified and creative Science Teacher. This is the ideal opportunity for a passionate educator to join a dedicated team at a secondary school catering to pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as mixed Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
About the Role:
Position: Science Teacher
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary to Permanent opportunities available for the right candidate
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and creative Science lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. You will foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment, enabling pupils to thrive academically and personally.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- A creative and adaptable teaching style to engage students with diverse needs
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- A passion for supporting pupils with SEMH and SEN
