Academics are currently looking for enthusiastic Humanities Teachers for flexible supply opportunities within their partnership secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire.

We are currently welcoming applications from Humanities Teachers with specialisms in History, Geography, Religious Education (RE) and PSHE.

Whether it is a long term contract or more flexible day-to-day cover; we focus the job search around you and look to provide you with the type of work you are looking for. Our supply opportunities are great as they allow our teachers to be flexible with the days that they wish to work. These roles can be ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as they could potentially lead to more long-term and permanent roles in some of our schools.

Humanities Teachers who apply must:

  • Hold the relevant Humanities qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BSC Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
  • Be able to deliver exciting and engaging lessons using your own creativity and initiative.
  • Be a confident motivator in the classroom, and can build excellent rapport with students and staff.
  • Have excellent practical knowledge of the national curriculum and to have a proven track record of working with students in KS3/KS4. KS5 experience would also be desirable, but not essential for our supply opportunities.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied).

Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, and the client rate that is available.
