High Level Teaching Assistant - EYFS

Academics are seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to join a nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team for the Summer Term. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, supporting a small group of 8-10 pupils in a vibrant and engaging learning environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to EYFS pupils, facilitating both academic and social development.
  • Deliver planned activities and interventions, tailored to meet the diverse needs of the group.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers, SEN staff, and other support staff.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, offering feedback to staff and parents/carers as required.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning atmosphere.


We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified HLTA with experience in EYFS or early primary settings.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with young children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

The primary school is easily accessible from Stoke-on-Trent and East Cheshire areas.
