As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process, working closely with teachers to ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive.Key Responsibilities:* Delivering lessons and managing the classroom in the absence of the class teacher.* Assisting in the planning and preparation of lessons in line with the national curriculum.* Providing targeted support to students, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN) or those requiring additional help.* Leading small group sessions and interventions to boost student progress.* Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to assess and monitor student progress.* Supporting with marking and assessment under the direction of the class teacher.* Contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Requirements:* Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or similar role within a primary school setting.* HLTA qualification or equivalent.* Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum and experience in supporting teaching and learning.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.* A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to different classroom environments.* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.* Supportive and friendly team to guide you through the recruitment process.* Access to professional development and training opportunities.If you are passionate about education and are looking to make a difference in the lives of young learners, we would love to hear from you!
