IT Service Transition Manager (ITIL)

ITIL IT Service Transition Manager for an excellent MSP, the role is essential in ensuring the seamless transition of services from delivery to operational support. The client love ITIL and would like someone who is ITIL qualified and has commercial experience. Operating within the Service Support Team, this role requires meticulous planning and coordination with various cross-functional teams to facilitate the introduction of new services while ensuring continuity for existing ones. This is an exciting MSP who work mainly on defence, government projects so requires strong communicational skills.

As the IT Service Transition Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing transition activities that align with the operational readiness process. This position demands strong prioritisation skills, comprehensive ITIL knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams to consistently bring services into Live support. Also, the role involves supporting incident management activities in a P1 critical incident, preference for previous incident management.

Service Transition Planning / Risk Management / QA / Documentation / CI / Performance Monitoring & Reporting / ITIL Support

You will have previous experience manging IT service transition projects, ITIL frameworks, Vs ITIL service transition preferred, ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira.  

Developing and maintaining detailed transition plans for each project delivery, outlining activities, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements, identifying risks, facilitate effective communication between Delivery Teams, Technical Teams, Service Operations, Business Stakeholders, and the Senior management teams regarding service transition activities, progress, and issues, performance monitoring and reporting:

UK Security Check (SC) clearance is required for this position. Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.
