If you are an experienced Logistics Coordinator or Warehouse Administrator with a proven background working within a manufacturing or construction setting, then read on…This group of companies is innovative within their sector, offering their clients bespoke solutions, whilst upholding their high standards, unique design and consistently striving to maintain their quality.Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and working closely with Procurement and operational teams the Logistics Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the logistics function with a focus on the transportation of goods, to both customers and suppliers as well as traditional warehouse responsibilities.As the Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator, you will take responsibility for:
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
- Liaise with freight carriers, couriers, and customers to arrange and track deliveries.
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation (e.g., delivery notes, labels, customs forms).
- Support the Warehouse Manager in logistics planning and stock movement between UK and EU warehouses.
- Monitor logistics performance and report issues or delays.
- Pick, pack, and load customer orders accurately and safely.
- Unload deliveries, inspect stock, and update inventory systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and warehouse machinery (training can be provided if necessary).
- Always adhere to health and safety protocols.
What you will need to succeed:
- Have the ability to drive forward what is a very successful part of the business.
- Good communicator with the ability to build relationships internally and with customers / suppliers.
- Previous experience in logistics or transport coordination is essential.
- Comfortable using logistics or warehouse management software (ERP/CRM systems).
- A hands-on, practical mindset with good attention to detail.
- Forklift license (desirable but not essential training can be provided).
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
