ACT supply and service test and measurement equipment used in electrical, gas and environmental applications.

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Assistant (Driver) to come and join our friendly team.

Stores Assistant (Driver): The Role

As our Stores Assistant you will be responsible for booking cutomer equipment and stock in and out, preparing shipments and collecting and delivering equipment from customers and suppliers.

I addition to this you will:

Book goods in and out, preparing goods for shipping
Undertake regular stock takes and update stock records
Undertake collections and deliveries of goods from both customers and suppliers
Prepare delivery schedules and plan routes
Ensure that deliveries and collections are made on time
Be responsible for the company vehicle, making sure it is clean, fuelled and maintained safely
Be professional at all times, through dress and behaviour
Adhere to all health and safety requirements, wearing PPE as and when required
Be prepared to undertake training as and when required

Please Note: You will occasionally be required to work outside of normal working hours

Our ideal candidate will -

Have previous experience preparing shipments in a similar environment
A good geographical knowledge of the Midlands and North West
Excellent IT experience
Have a full driving licence
Be a confident Team Player
Have the ability to work unsupervised
Excellent communication skills
