Branch Manager - Job Description.Salary: Up to £28k (D.O.E)

As Branch Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring that company standards are maintained and exceeded. Your role is to manage the team, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain a welcoming branch environment that enhances the customer experience. You will also drive profitability through effective management and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve Branch Targets: Meet and exceed branch performance goals.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Coordinate local marketing and promotions with team support.
  • Profit & Cost Management: Manage branch profitability and control costs.
  • Customer Care: Ensure high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Standards & Presentation: Maintain a high standard of branch appearance and displays.
  • Administration: Oversee banking, petty cash, and client balance payments.
  • Social Media: Manage social media content in line with guidelines.
  • Staffing: Ensure appropriate staffing and coordinate staff leave.

Personnel Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Liaise with your line manager regularly and communicate relevant updates to the team.
  • Staff Management: Organise, supervise, and allocate work according to company standards.
  • Performance Management: Address performance, conduct, and presentation issues promptly, seeking senior management support when necessary.
  • Meetings & Communication: Hold team meetings and maintain effective communication with feedback.
  • Motivation & Productivity: Monitor team performance to ensure maximum productivity and motivation.
  • Attendance & Timekeeping: Ensure compliance with attendance and timekeeping policies.
  • Team Development: Promote teamwork, mentor staff, and provide training where needed.
  • Professional Development: Attend training and development courses as required.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company policies, operating standards, and procedures.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake any reasonable tasks to support branch success.

Please note: You must have previous travel management for this position.
