Are you a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager with a passion for driving successful projects within the defence and national security sectors? This role offers you the chance to lead the delivery of Secure Defence Collaboration services, ensuring project execution, customer satisfaction, and business growth. As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will leverage your leadership skills and technical expertise to make a significant impact.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the end-to-end delivery of projects. Your main responsibilities will include defining project scope, developing detailed plans, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders. Additionally, you will manage project budgets, track financials, and optimise resource use.

Key Responsibilities:
Your duties as the Technical Delivery Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
2. Develop detailed project plans, specifying technical tasks, schedules, and resource requirements.
3. Oversee the project life cycle, including planning, execution, testing, delivery, and service transition phases.
4. Lead cross-functional project teams, including developers, engineers, quality assurance, and business stakeholders.
5. Facilitate project stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
6. Provide regular project updates and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
7. Proactively identify and monitor project risks, issues, and roadblocks, developing mitigation strategies.
8. Manage project budgets, ensuring that expenses are within the allocated resources.
9. Collaborate with quality assurance and testing teams to validate deliverables.
10. Conduct project lessons learnt and continual improvement workshops.

Candidate Profile:
As the Technical Delivery Manager, you will have:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a proven history operating within the technology sector.
2. Relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) preferred.
3. 5+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of success in delivering technology projects within defence or national security/infrastructure sectors.
4. Proven success in delivering technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
5. Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.).
6. UK Security Check (SC) clearance is required for this position. Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain SC clearance, with a view to obtaining UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance as required.
