Our client, Stoke on Trent City Council, is seeking an experienced Adoption social worker for its Regional Adoption Agency – please let me know if you are interested? Or can you refer a friend for £250 if placed?
Details of the role involve:
- Working with households at stage 1 and stage 2 of the Prospective Adopter Report process
- Providing training to prospective adopters
- Working with step-parent adopters in the local area
- Supporting with the duty function
- Working with families where children have been matched in the initial time period before the adoption is formalised
- Hybrid working
Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- Must have significant experience in adoption work
- Must have completed Prospective Adopter Reports (PARs) or would possibly consider Form-F or SGO experience if coupled with experience of moving children through from fostering to adoption (permanency)
