Details of the role involve:

  • Working with households at stage 1 and stage 2 of the Prospective Adopter Report process
  • Providing training to prospective adopters
  • Working with step-parent adopters in the local area
  • Supporting with the duty function
  • Working with families where children have been matched in the initial time period before the adoption is formalised
  • Hybrid working

Requirements of the role:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Fully Social Work England registered
  • Must have significant experience in adoption work
  • Must have completed Prospective Adopter Reports (PARs) or would possibly consider Form-F or SGO experience if coupled with experience of moving children through from fostering to adoption (permanency)
