Aspire People are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Intervention Specialist to join one of our client specialist units.About the Role:The successful candidate will work within a specialist unit designed to support pupils who have been excluded from or cannot attend mainstream education. The focus of the role is to help reduce the risk of permanent exclusion by providing tailored interventions and emotional support in a nurturing, individual-focused environment. You will play a crucial part in the students' development and well-being, working to re-engage them with their education and build the foundation for future success.Key Responsibilities:- Provide tailored support to students who have been excluded or at risk of exclusion.- Develop and implement individual learning plans and interventions to support academic and social progress.- Foster positive relationships with students, building trust and confidence.- Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic well-being of each student.- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages personal development and academic success.- Monitor progress, assess needs, and provide regular feedback to the school leadership team.About You:We are looking for someone who is:- Confident and compassionate - you must be able to build rapport and establish trust with students from a range of backgrounds.- Open-minded and adaptable - able to approach each student as an individual and respond to their unique needs.- Passionate about education and supporting vulnerable pupils - you understand the importance of early intervention and are committed to making a positive impact on students' lives.- Strong communicator - you can work effectively with students, staff, parents, and external professionals to provide comprehensive support.Qualifications & Experience:- Experience working with young people in an educational or support capacity (preferably with those at risk of exclusion or with behavioral challenges).- A relevant qualification (such as Teaching Assistant, Special Educational Needs, or Youth Work) would be advantageous but not essential.- An understanding of the challenges faced by pupils outside of mainstream education and the ability to create tailored interventions.- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.Why Join Us?- £100* joining bonus after you have worked 10 days- Help and support whenever needed- Holiday Pay- Guidance through your assignments and help you with your CV and interview techniques- Safeguarding Training- £250* recommend a friend scheme once somebody you recommended has worked 20 daysIf you are passionate about supporting young people and want to be part of a dedicated team committed to transforming lives, we would love to hear from you!Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
