Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Stoke on a 1-1 basis with a child with, Experience working in an SEN setting would be desirable.

Prospero Teaching are recruiting an SEN teaching assistant to work in the Stoke area. This job role is perfect for an enthusiastic, driven and creative candidate with previous experience working with young people. We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant, As a teaching assistant you will be working frequently on a daily supply basis, with the opportunity to undertake a longer term placement . As a teaching assistant you will be will be responsible for encouraging the positive emotional, social and academic development of the child . Essential skills include excellent communication / relationship building as well experience of supporting learning.

The successful applicants will:

  • Have experience of supporting children with a variety of needs
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • SEN awareness
  • Must hold a current valid DBS or be willing to apply for a new one

    A registration process will need to be followed before starting the role, therefore you must be able to provide two references demonstrating the above skills.
