We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students with special educational needs in Stoke-on-Trent.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support classroom teachers in managing student behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Help with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
- A patient and empathetic approach to working with students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education (desirable but not essential).
