Are you a dedicated and experienced Art Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with social, emotional, and mental health needs? Zest Education is seeking a qualified Art Teacher with a passion for working in a special educational needs school located in Stoke on Trent.

Starting in Decemeber 2024, this long-term position offers the chance to inspire and support students aged 7-13 in exploring their creativity through various art forms. As a successful candidate, you will have prior experience in supporting individuals with SEND and be capable of independently managing a classroom. Working collaboratively with an experienced staff team, you will create a supportive and stimulating learning environment for the students.

Ideally, you will hold a PGCE or equivalent qualification and possess a strong background in art education. Your ability to engage and motivate young learners while incorporating a wide range of art techniques, including textiles and sculpting, into your lesson planning will be essential for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
