Position: SEMH Teacher Location: Stoke-on-Trent Pay Rate: £160 - £180 per day (depending on experience) Contract Type: Full-Time, temp to permAbout the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and resilient teacher to join our team on a full-time supply basis at an SEMH school in Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support students with varying needs, including mental health. Attachment disorder, foetal alcohol, speech and language and traits of autism and OCD.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with complex behaviours and SEMH needs.
- Plan and deliver tailored educational programs and interventions.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to support students in managing their behaviour.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Support students in developing their social skills and emotional regulation.
- Help with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs and complex behaviours is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of the students.
