Role Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other school staff to provide tailored support to students with diverse needs, including learning, emotional, and physical disabilities. Youll help foster a positive learning environment and adapt classroom activities to meet individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ADHD, and other learning difficulties
  • Assist in implementing individualised learning plans (ILPs) and ensure the progress of each student
  • Support students emotional and social development, fostering a safe and welcoming environment
  • Help prepare resources, set up learning activities, and adapt materials for different needs
  • Assist in personal care tasks, where necessary
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to provide coordinated care and support
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom

About You
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children with SEN and a positive, patient attitude. Youll bring empathy, adaptability, and resilience to each day, along with strong communication skills to work effectively within our team.
