About Us:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapeutic Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEN education and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young people. You will be responsible for delivering tailored educational programs that address the individual needs of our students, fostering their personal and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Deliver engaging and therapeutic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, support staff, and parents.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being.
  • Provide one-on-one support and intervention for students requiring additional assistance.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with secondary-aged students with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic teaching methods and strategies.
