A Senior Accountant, who will play a key part in the Accounts team with the production of the management accounts for our South American entities.

This role is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a rapidly growing area of the Business as we continue our expansion across South America, specifically our Brazilian entities. You will be working closely with multiple stakeholders within relevant countries both internal and external.

There is a high level of connectivity between the multiple Tax systems and portals used within South America and the accounts preparation. Due to the complexities of South American regulations a keen eye for detail is essential.

This position is offered as a 6 months Fixed Term contract, with the potential for extension or transition to a permanent role based on business needs and performance. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Companys hybrid working from home policy.

Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK from their first day of employment.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience
ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Proven experience in the preparation of financial accounts.
Familiarity with finance system management and internal control.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high quality outputs.
Proactive and positive approach to tasks, with a willingness to take initiative.
Strong problem solving skills, capable of addressing challenges effectively.
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals.

Main Responsibilities
Preparing and producing accurate period-end management accounts for South American entities.
Recording all accounting entries meticulously for relevant South American entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Writing insightful supporting commentary for review by Senior Management, highlighting key financial insights.
Working closely with the Tax team to enable an efficient process and on time deliverables.
Carrying out daily financial reconciliations and investigating variances.
Reviewing and recommending improvements to existing processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
