Youth Sports Coach

Are you an experienced Sports Coach looking to transition into a classroom environment? We are seeking dynamic and adaptable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage secondary school classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-set lessons to students, ensuring they remain engaged and on-task.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support students with their work where required and ensure they understand instructions.
• Report back to teaching staff on the performance and behaviour of the class.

To be considered for the role of Sports Coach you will:

• Experience working as a Youth Sports Coach. Must be referenceable work.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain discipline.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments.
• A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is essential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Experience working as a Youth Sports Coach. Must be referenceable work.
