Job description
Our client is looking for a Tendering / Manager / Estimator / Engineer required for a Energy contractor who provide power to sub stations.
Duties:
- Obtaining supplier quotes (understanding of pursuing manufacturers for rapid return of prices both firm and budget)
- Understanding TOCs
- Compiling cost build up sheets
- Produce payment schedules
- Produce technical offer letters
- Understand G81 standards
- Use of cloud-based software (Oracle, JNC etc)
Experience in:
- Excel (all aspects)
- Programme creation (we have a P6 planner)
- CVR reporting
- One Drive and SharePoint
- 11 to 132kV substation design and construction, primary and secondary, civil trench, and construction
- Experience in the ICP market to 132kV (training provided for higher voltage levels and EPC schemes)
- ISO processes
- Good presentation skills
- Good personal skill
- Driving licence
