Role and key responsibilities for our Purchasing Manager:
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure high service levels and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Analyse and report on procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and lead times.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet the company's needs and objectives.
Minimum Requirements for our Purchasing Manager:
- Analytically minded with excellent decision making and problem solving skills
- Purchasing in a Manufacturing environment
- CIPS qualified
- Previous knowledge of Google suite would be advantageous
- Enineering or Design understanding
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads
Pay rate: 35-45k per annum
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday
07:00 - 16:00
Friday
07:00 - 15:00
