Contract: Supply contract (September 2024 - December 2024, with potential for extension)
Day Rate: (Apply online only)/day
Location: Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire
About the Role:
Our client, a reputable secondary school in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team on a supply basis. This role is perfect for someone who is committed to maintaining an engaging and effective learning environment in the absence of regular teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with their learning.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies.
- Provide support and guidance to students to help them complete their work.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student supervision.
- Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the school by supporting various school activities and events.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months UK experience in a similar role.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic educational environment.
- Must have the right to work in the UK as no sponsorship is available for this role.
