My client is a market leading organisation within the services industry, committed to excellence and delivering outstanding services to our clients. They are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Finance Assistant with strong SAGE experience to join their finance team.
Job Description:
The Part-Time Finance Assistant will support the finance department with day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAGE accounting software and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts using SAGE.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
- Complete credit control duties
- Monitor and track expenses and assist in budget preparation.
- Assist in maintaining proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in SAGE accounting software is essential.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field is desirable.
