MIG/ MAG WELDER

Groomfield recruitmentare seeking a skilled MIG/MAG Welder to join our team in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using MIG techniques.

Working hours- 7am-4pm

Pay rate-12.50- 14.00

Responsibilities
- Weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
- Perform stick welding on various materials
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area

Skills
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques
- Use an overhead crane
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance
- Competent in using power tools and hand tools
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Able to do 6/8/10/12/15/20/25mm Welds and multiruns
- Familiarity with sheet metal work is a plus
