MOBILE PLANT FITTER

OTE: £50,000+pa
 
Plant Fitter Job Details
Basic Salary: £39,039pa + Work Van
Working Hours: Monday-Friday - 08:00-16:30 (Flexibility in hours)
Location: Eccleshall
 
Overtime:
Time and half after 8 hour working day
Double pay after 12 hours
 
My client is looking for a skilled fitter from a plant/agricultural or commercial truck & trailer background with a mechanical mindset who can turn his hand to work on a variety of equipment ranging from tower lights, winches, cables, dumpers, welfare units, excavators , trailers and telehandlers.

Responsibilities of a Plant Fitter
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards
·Professionally and effectively checking and diagnosing mechanical problems
·Repairing and replacing of faulty parts
·Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
·Conducting routine maintenance in line with company standards
·Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including safety checks, implementing safe working procedures, and escalating further concerns to supervisor/ plant operation manager
·Ensuring high quality company standards and understanding the impact of great customer service
 
Skills and Qualifications of a Plant Fitter
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·Full UK Drivers Licence
·Hydraulic/Pneumatic experience advantage
·Prior mobile experience beneficial
