Embark on a pivotal role in shaping the substructural integrity of a new build university in the Cumbria region. A national tier one contractor is seeking a diligent and experienced Engineer to take charge of the substructural works, collaborating closely with the wider Site Management team to ensure excellence and precision in every aspect of the engineering process.

This is a continuous position that promises the satisfaction of contributing to a significant and high-profile construction project. The Engineer will be instrumental in directing all groundworks, ensuring that every detail meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable track record in groundworks engineering
- Proficiency with engineering equipment such as Topcon or Leica
- Competence with engineering software relevant to the role
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination
- Ability to adhere to strict safety and quality standards



Candidates are not expected to bring their own engineering equipment, but must be capable of using a Leica and be adept at using the associated software, ideally Viewpoint.
