Sonic Summary
- The job requires a minimum of HND/HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and ideally previous experience as an Instrument Technician in the gas industry.
- The position offers a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Key responsibilities include calibrating, repairing, and maintaining systems on client sites, as well as providing technical support.

- Candidates must possess strong skills in interpreting drawings, fault-finding, and knowledge of PLCs and pressure control systems.

What will you do?
Calibrate, repair, and maintain systems on client sites, fixing any issues.
Commission systems on client sites, addressing any problems.
Test communications and run end-to-end tests.
Provide technical support to clients for specific issues.
Assist Installation Technicians and Service Engineers with in-house problems.
Help Design Engineers with commissioning plans.
Prepare and send reports/documents on time as instructed.
Follow the company's QA and SHE policies, helping with updates.
Train less experienced engineers.
Attend all necessary company and department meetings.
Take on any other tasks within your skill set as directed by your manager.
Provide support for the 24/7 service helpline by being on call as part of a rota.

What will you need?
Minimum HND/HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong skills in interpreting drawings, fault-finding, and knowledge of PLCs and pressure control systems.
Full driving licence (max 3 points, no disqualifications).
Ideally, previous experience working as an Instrument Technician in the gas industry.
