Join a dynamic team at our client, a forward-thinking organisation dedicated to delivering excellence in logistics and supply chain management. We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimise our logistics processes while ensuring the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Efficiently receive and process sales and purchase orders, adhering to departmental KPIs to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain accuracy in all administrative duties, confirming that every aspect of the order process is executed flawlessly.

Conduct thorough checks on each order in line with established procedures, guaranteeing compliance and accuracy.

Book transport as required, ensuring adherence to procedures for timely and efficient delivery.

Respond promptly to customer and supplier queries, fostering positive relationships and ensuring satisfaction.

Track Proof of Deliveries (PODs) to ensure compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Regularly update the system with accurate delivery Estimated Time of Arrival (ETAs), taking immediate action to rectify any discrepancies.

Cross-reference system supplier prices with supplier acknowledgements to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Report any issues or complaints to the Assistant Operations Manager in a timely manner, following the established protocol.

Log credit requirements accurately and promptly for approval, ensuring compliance with the procedure.

Provide backup and support within the Supply Chain department as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Produce and circulate reports as requested by the management team, providing valuable insights into logistics performance.

Manage requests for data sheets and marketing collateral, ensuring all materials are handled efficiently.

Required:

Proven experience in logistics or supply chain coordination.

Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
