VIQU have partnered with a leading entity in operational technology and digital transformation. Operating in highly regulated and demanding industrial sectors, they have successfully executed pivotal projects across energy, renewables, water, and manufacturing domains.

They are seeking a highly capable Production Team Leader to join their dynamic production department, focusing on the manufacture, testing, and delivery of control panel solutions for national infrastructure projects while ensuring full compliance with industry regulations. The Production Team Leader will be required to manage multiple project builds simultaneously, demanding adaptability, strong leadership, and close coordination with the Production Scheduler to define key milestones and maintain timely project completion. The successful Production Team Leader will have proven experience in leading production teams, with expertise in control panel assembly, and a solid foundational understanding of electrical design principles.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Team Leader:

  • Manage multiple project builds to ensure production schedules are met and deadlines achieved.
  • Plan and coordinate daily team activities to align with key milestones.
  • Monitor and improve production processes to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of production documentation and records.
  • Foster a “right first time” culture to uphold high build standards.
  • Train and develop staff to adapt to business needs and mentor apprentices to meet their training requirements.
  • Promote and enforce health and safety compliance across all operations.
  • Oversee quality control to ensure panels and equipment meet required specifications.

Experience Required of the Production Team Leader:

  • Proven background in managing and guiding teams effectively.
  • Strong background in production environments, with expertise in lean manufacturing principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of control panel build processes, and electrical industry practices.
  • A collaborative mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
