We are working with our client, who is looking for an additional training professional to help train, develop and support all their engineering employees and apprentices.

We are therefore seeking an individual with a proven passion for Electrical Engineering / Software who has either previously worked as an engineer or worked in an Engineering Education environment supporting learners.

The role will support all engineers, across all disciplines from Apprentices to Principal Engineers.

• Working with the Learning and Development Advisor and the engineering leads to lead all aspects of engineering training.
• Advising on engineering training interventions in all disciplines and ensure appropriate provider/delivery
• Work with the Engineering Managers to refresh and upskill their engineering populations
• Develop and advise on technical training content as and when required.
• Lead the Apprenticeship scheme and support apprentices on all aspects throughout their education journey

Essential Requirements:

• Either worked as an Electrical Control Systems Engineer or experience delivering Electrical Engineering courses.
• Ability to Coach and Mentor learners
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels, written and oral
• Work with the values of the company and set an example for behaviour’s and
• Appropriate qualification in an Engineering related field

Desirable Requirements:

• BEng Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Experience in coaching and mentoring
