Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mazak Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and operating Mazak Machines, with a preference for those familiar with Mazak machining centers using Nexus 2 controls. Confidence in machining high value exotic materials such as Nickel Alloy 625, 718, Inconel, and Aluminum Bronze is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate Mazak Machines, with a focus on machining centers using Nexus 2 controls
- Expertise in machining high value exotic materials, demonstrating precision and attention to detail
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure the efficient and timely completion of projects
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
Qualifications
- Proven experience in programming and operating Mazak Machines, specifically machining centers with Nexus 2 controls
- Familiarity with machining high value exotic materials such as Nickel Alloy 625, 718, Inconel, and Aluminum Bronze
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Day-to-day
- Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to plan and execute machining projects
- Program and set up Mazak Machines as per project requirements
- Operate machines to produce precision parts from high value exotic materials
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
