CNC Turner required to join a leading engineering company specializing in the manufacturing of low-volume, high-value, and complex machined components. With a strong reputation for precision engineering, they work across various industries. They are looking for a highly skilled CNC Turner that has Programming Setting and Operating experience working on Mazak machines.
CNC Turner Job Overview- Program, set, and operate Mazak CNC turning machines to produce precision-engineered components.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, CAD models, and specifications.
- Use a range of measuring tools to ensure components meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, production staff, and quality inspectors to maintain high standards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner within a precision engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming using Mazak controls.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts if required.
- Must live within a commutable distance of Stonehouse
- Full time - Permanent position
- Monday to Friday
- 8am - 4pm
- Hourly rate - £16 - £20 (depending on experience)
