We are currently working with a family-run business with a strong commitment to core values such as honesty, family values, hard work, reliability, and environmental sustainability.They are looking for a Credit Controller to become part of our team, contributing to our operations across the South-West of England. This role is ideal for someone who values customer service and is keen to take on a role with significant responsibility in cash collection and query resolution.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Posting receipts and issuing statements, confirming invoices cleared and anticipated payment dates.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to all customers, both internal and external, in person, over the telephone, and in email/written communication.
  • Cash collection and collaborative efforts to reduce debtor days.
  • Resolving queries and building strong relationships with the operating arms of the business and our client base.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Credit control experience is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Good understanding and use of Excel is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
