We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The Cleaner will work independently or as part of a team, contributing to a positive environment for both clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitised to meet health and safety standards.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address any cleaning needs or concerns.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain an organised supply of cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
- Drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A valid driver's licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between sites.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.35-13.35 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
