Responsibilities:

As a QC Engineer, you will:

  • Review production documentation, including drawings and datasheets, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Oversee the non-conformance and change management processes throughout the production cycle.
  • Monitor build processes and inspect components, assemblies, and complete packages using Inspection and Test Plans (I&TP).
  • Support instrumentation and equipment calibration activities.
  • Complete inspections and assessments, documenting non-conformance clearly.
  • Utilise Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment for machine shop inspections.
  • Conduct quality checks on painted components and assess welded components using visual and basic measuring techniques.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production documentation and inspection processes.
  • Proficient in mechanical measurement techniques and quality assessment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformance.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Familiarity with Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment.
  • Experience in supporting calibration activities.
  • Background in engineering or a related field.
  • ISO or other relevant quality standards certification.
