We are looking to appoint a qualified KS1 teacher to cover maternity leave.   • Create an orderly, organised, and stimulating environment where children can learn effectively and achieve their highest potential.
  • Identify and assess the special educational needs of individual students, planning lessons to accommodate and support these needs.
  • Implement Assessment for Learning strategies in lessons and adhere to the school's Marking and Assessment policy.
  • Monitor, record, and track each pupil's progress, employing appropriate strategies for improvement. Share these insights with parents during planned parent evenings, through reports, etc.
  • Exhibit good classroom management practices to maintain positive behaviour.
  • Contribute to the school's teaching and learning development by sharing best practices, being receptive to colleagues' ideas, and leading a curriculum area.
  • Utilise computing effectively for planning, teaching, and assessing, and promote it as a learning tool.
  • Be proactive in self-review and commit to ongoing professional development.
  • Participate in and contribute to staff meetings, INSET days, and other relevant meetings or CPD activities related to this role and the school's development,
  • Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Actively promote and commit to the school's equal opportunities policy.
