SaaS Sales Development Representative - up to £49k OTE (£37.5k base) + Outstanding Benefits

Full time(Mon - Fri 08:45 to 17:00)

Hybrid (2 days a week in modern offices in Stonehouse), free on-site parking

About the Role

As a valued Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll be at the front line, influencing the market and accelerating company growth. Responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline, you'll work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that personal and company goals are met and exceeded.

Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of delivering innovation and success in sales are essential. If you're an energetic, self-motivated professional with a passion for intelligent sales, we would like you to join this team of high achievers.


About You

You will needproven experience of successful sales within B2B tech services or solutions. A knowledge of procurement would be valuable but not essential. We will train you in our market to enable you to be successful in the role.

  • Proven experience (3-5 years+) in sales
  • 2+ years' experience of outbound SaaS SDR in a B2B environment
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software is essential; LinkedIn, SalesLoft exposure is desirable
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills
  • Engaging, expert storytelling, inspiring
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Analytical and attentive
  • Highly driven, competitive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • A desire to learn and grow with the organisation
  • Bachelors degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience desirable
  • Understanding of protech, fintech markets is desirable but not essential

Job Specification: Responsibilities

  • Research, identify and influence potential prospects, generate new business opportunities for the company
  • Online network - build awareness and influence via outbound social media, phone and email
  • Contact and qualify inbound prospects
  • Set appointments and follow up on leads
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets including account mapping and ABM.
  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management
  • Be creative, develop your skills and share best practice
