This role is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified individual with a passion for supporting children's learning and development.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons.
  • Work with small groups or individual students to support their academic progress.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support the social and emotional well-being of students.
  • Help manage classroom resources and set up learning activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other professionals.

We are seeking individuals who:

  • High standards and aspirations
  • Strong knowledge and insight into the needs of KS1 children, with the ability to effectively support their development and well-being
  • An understanding of neuro-diverse conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and learning challenges like dyslexia
  • A solid awareness of Early Phonics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • A calm and adaptable attitude, paired with initiative and flexibility
  • A proactive willingness to embrace new ideas and approaches
  • Exceptional proficiency in English and Mathematics
