Menzies Distribution are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our parcel delivery team at Cullompton depot.
At Menzies Distribution, our extensive national network delivers parcels to lockers nationwide. We have ambitious plans to grow our market share over the next 12 months and year on year growth thereafter.
Job role: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Cullompton, EX15 1BT
Shift Pattern: 4on / 4off
Hours: Variable working hours
Salary: £31,050 per annum
Supervisor Duties
- Set-up and run parcel sortation teams on shift
- Supervise parcel sortation team, ensuring productivity for parcels per hour and all associated KPI's are met
- Coach, mentor and monitor teams overall performance
- Fix and regenerate customers parcels
- Manage full holiday rota for parcel sortation team
- Conduct performance reviews and manage all return to work meetings
- De-brief of drivers ensuring processes are followed correctly
- Ensuring all parcel sortation paperwork is completed
- Basic administrative duties
- To implement the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring and maintaining a safe working environment at all times
- To implement the Security Policy ensuring and maintaining a secure passage of goods for the customer
- Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Management or the Shift Manager
Supervisor Requirements
- ‘Right To Work’ in the UK
- Ability to lead and work in a team.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment
- FLT licence an advantage but not essential
