Job Purpose
  • Manage a varied client portfolio, working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure deadlines and budgets are being met
  • Support with the auditing of limited company and charity accounts, ensuring budgets, deadlines and clients’ expectations are met
  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • Preparation of corporation tax computations
  • Oversee junior staff, including overseeing workflow, reviewing work and delivering training
  • Build trusted client relationships as their main point of contact, proactively handling queries
  • Monitor and interpret changes in legislation and industry trends
  • Undertaking further learning opportunities to expand on your own skillset

The Successful Applicant
  • AAT / ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or AAT Level 4 studying
  • Recent relevant experience within UK practice
  • Strong technical skillset covering audit and the preparation of accounts
  • Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress within the firm
  • A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
  • Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
  • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
  • Commercial business acumen
