The role

Our client, a growing manufacturing company in Stourbridge is looking to recruit an accounts assistant to join their busy team. As an accounts assistant you will be faced with a variety of tasks daily which will all contribute to the smooth running of the business.

Your main duties (not limited to)

  • The completion of timely and accurate quarterly management accounts.
  • Cash flow management
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts including invoice factoring account
  • Reconciling purchase ledger and sales ledger
  • VAT returns and associated HMRC compliance
  • Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation
  • Collating wages for external payroll provider
  • Overseeing all accounts functions
  • Management of CIS tax
  • Paying suppliers and the occasional foreign payments
  • Experience of Sage 50
  • Experience of Microsoft office
  • Collating information for P11D's
  • Organizing and being the key contact for insurance policies
  • Key contact with banks
  • Purchase ledger management
