Chemical Mixing Operative

Based in Stourbridge.

Monday to Friday

6:00am to 3:00pm

14 per hour.

Temporary to Permanent

We are currently looking for a Chemical Mixing Operative to join us at our facility. The purpose of the role is to manufacture our formulations whilst meeting agreed planned volumes and targets in accordance with company quality and safety standards.

Role Responsibilities:

Weighing and blending of chemicals in accordance with specified formulations and procedures.

  • Operate and maintain mixing and blending equipment.
  • Complete manufacturing to a daily production plan.
  • Cleaning of mixing vessels.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are met at every stage of manufacture.
  • Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping.
  • Maintain accurate formulation records and documentation.
  • Participate in H&S meetings and tool box talks.
  • Accurate use of scales and production machinery in accordance with training
  • Clean working
  • Safety aware for self and others in working area
  • To comply with CoSHH and Health and safety policy and use of PPE at all times.
  • Forklift truck operations (after training and on-site approval)

Key Skills:

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Use initiative and be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Organised
  • Excellent communication and team work skills
  • Certified with forklift truck license (training can be provided)
  • Experience in manufacturing / process industry desirable
