THE ROLE

As a Senior Architectural Technician, you'll play a key role within our dynamic Extracare team. Working with other members of the team, you'll be instrumental in executing various aspects of architectural projects. From collaborating with team members to independently managing designated tasks, your expertise will contribute to the seamless delivery of projects varying in both scope and complexity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To programme and lead the production of working / construction drawing package
  • To work as part of a team in addition to working independently
  • To work collaboratively and liaise with clients, contractors and other consultants
  • To undertake design coordination, clash detection and carry out checks of 3rd party specialist design
  • Flexibly meet the requirements and deadlines of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Positively uphold QDA standards and best practices
  • Implement and ensure compliance with latest building legislation and health and safety regulations
  • Actively identify, understand and implement any regulatory changes
  • Contract documentation preparation, including assessment and correction of drawings
  • Deliver projects within agreed program and budget
  • Implement office procedures and project risk management
  • Fulfil duties of a Designer under CDM regulations.
