Professional Technical are currently on the search for an Electrical Design Engineer to work for a unique manufacturer of bespoke entertainment machinery working with some of the global leading consumer attraction parks and creating some of the most outstanding unforgettable experiences for all ages to experience. Our client are based on the outskirts of Birmingham and their location is an easy commutable distance to get to.
The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for working on a variation of exciting projects where they will be tasked to create detailed designs of both electrical and electronic hardware solutions. The Role as an Electrical Design Engineer:
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible to carry out the following:
- Able to work from detailed briefs during the full design life-cycle
- Working with cross-functional teams (Project Managers, Mechanical and Software Engineers)
- Contributing to initial research, development of product, design detail and build of prototypes to prove concept
- Working on Electrical CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Edge, CREO or similar)
- Creation of schematic drawings, PCB layouts and electrical harness design
Job Requirements:
To be considered for this opportunity as Electrical Design Engineer, you must have some if not all of the following requirements:
- Degree Qualified in Electrical Engineering
- 2 years+ design industry experience within an Electrical Design/Controls Engineering role
- Worked on projects end-to-end and experienced in electrical system design
- Knowledge of risk assessments, reporting and write up of product specifications
