We have an opening with a successful heavy manufacturing company who are searching for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

What will your day to day activities as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer include?

The role, based in the Dudley Borough, will expect you to be responsible for preventative maintenance and plant building maintenance works. You will be fixed on a shift pattern of Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm followed by 2pm – 10pm. Due to the requirements of the business you must be flexible and prepared to work alternative weekends (Saturday and Sunday mornings at an enhanced overtime rate). This role will be based in a heavy engineering environment so you must be prepared to ‘get your hands dirty’.

What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?

  • An electrical background with recent experience in a similar position.
  • 5 year + experience working in an Electrical Engineering position.
  • Any experience working with Siemens PLC Controls is advantageous.
  • Experience working in a heavy engineering environment (such as; steel, refractory, forging or foundry).
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • An interest in completing overtime.
