We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join an established independent insurance brokerage based in Stourbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with commercial insurance experience to join a supportive and professional team in a flexible, office-based role, with scope for career progression to Account Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present insurance quotations for a wide range of commercial insurance risks, including combined commercial, liability, property, professional indemnity, marine, cyber, and more.
  • Handle policy adjustments, respond to client inquiries, and provide excellent customer service. Assist clients with claims, report to insurers, and track claims progress.
  • Review and verify proposal forms, policy documents, and other necessary paperwork to ensure accuracy before submission. Ensure all insurance terms and conditions are properly documented and communicated to clients.
  • Log and manage client correspondence and phone calls via the Insur-E system. Maintain the diary system for follow-ups on documentation, payments, and claims updates.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. A positive, customer-focused attitude is a must. Experience using the Insur-E Applied TAM system is desirable, though not essential.
  • This is an office-based role with the possibility of flexible working hours, but no hybrid or remote working options. The company offers a relaxed yet professional environment, fostering teamwork and high standards of customer service.
