Role: Family Paralegal Location: StourbridgeSalary: Up to 25kWe at Simpson Judge are currently working with a reputable law firm based in Stourbridge who are looking to bring in a Family paralegal. In the role of Family Law Paralegal, you will take charge of your own caseload, addressing matters ranging from fixed-fee divorces and child arrangements to intricate financial disputes.Responsibilities:As a Family Law Paralegal, your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:Managing initial inquiry callsScheduling qualified leads for Case Assessment sessions with the legal teamParticipating in Case Assessments with new clients to enhance your experience and understandingIndependently handling Divorce cases (training will be provided)Independently managing Clean Break cases (training will be provided)Assembling Court Bundles for the legal teamCommunicating with the Court to track the progress of ApplicationsAssisting with more complex family law casesAdvocating during Court HearingsDrafting Court Applications, Orders, and related documentationConducting daily case management tasksPreparing Trial BundlesInstructing CounselAbout you:An LLB Law Degree or GDL (minimum of a 2:1)Personal Attributes:Self-driven, enthusiastic, and dependableExcellent literacy with a keen eye for detailStrong communication and relationship-building abilitiesOrganised and precise in your work, with effective prioritisation skillsConfidence to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environmentA genuine passion for supporting family law clients and ambition to excel in this areaIf you are interested please get in touch with Rory Brand at Simpson Judge for a confidential chat.
