The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and dynamic Office Manager to join a leading, full-service global events and experience agency. Based in Birmingham, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a company that is known for creating extraordinary experiences for some of the world’s most recognisable brands. While this role is focused on managing the day-to-day operations of the office, it also includes front-of-house and receptionist responsibilities, making you the first point of contact for clients and visitors.

As Office Manager, you’ll take ownership of ensuring the smooth running of the office. From welcoming and hosting visitors to managing meeting rooms, handling client phone enquiries, and overseeing contracts, you’ll play a critical role in keeping everything on track. You’ll also manage IT issues, ensure company procedures are up-to-date, maintain the company intranet, and oversee company insurance policies. If you’re someone who loves a challenge and is ready to take the lead on a variety of tasks, this could be the perfect role for you.

Skills and Experience

You should have previous experience managing an office, with a strong focus on process and procedure. A proven track record in project management, IT compliance, and office administration is essential. You will be highly detail-oriented, with a passion for seeing tasks through to completion and ensuring accuracy in everything you do.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and capable of motivating others to deliver excellence. You will need to be comfortable juggling multiple tasks, prioritising effectively, and staying calm under pressure. Strong communication and decision-making skills are essential, as is a working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
