We are experts in employing highly skilled candidates from the UK and Europe and settling them into overseas contract roles in the defence sector and we continue to build on this strong foundation of specialist services and project solutions. We are looking to expand our team at our UK head office.
The Accounts Assistant role is Monday-Thursday 9am-5:00pm and Friday 9am-4:30pm and will be based in Belbroughton within the Payroll and Accounts department. This will be a busy role and the post holder will be required to have a flexible approach to work, providing general administration support to various departments within the company.
The Role will include:
- Purchase Ledger (includes entering invoices/posting payments)
- Sales Ledger (includes creating sales invoices/dealing with customers)
- Variety of reconciliation work/cross-checks
- Assisting with Cashbook postings
- Helping with management accounts (book-keeping)
- Ability to help with any task to reach weekly/monthly deadlines
The Person:
- Working knowledge of Excel and ability to look up and understand harder formulas
- Proficient in Outlook and Word
- Good organisation and time management skills, able to prioritise workload.
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivating and ability to use own initiative
- Excellent communicator
- A great sense of humour
